Unique to North America, the Hotel de Glace is located just a 30 minute drive west of Québec City. Crafted entirely out of 500 tons of ice and 15,000 tons of snow every year, this unique fairytale like setting is destined to melt and disappear in the spring. The grand hall, with its fiber optic ice chandelier, welcomes guests to an array of services and amenities including Nordic style spa and saunas. The hotel has an ice chapel, an Ice Bar, an Ice Cafe serving coffee drinks, and an ice slide. The hotel restaurant, Auberge Duchesnay, overlooks an nearby lake, and features a warm fireplace and an adjacent lounge. Ice Hotel also offers various winter sports and recreational activities on site. Guests have access to N' Ice Club, all week long. Ice Hotel Quebec features 36 rooms and theme suites complete with ice furnishings, ice décor, and a comfortable bed dressed with a polar sheet and deer fur. Ensconced in a warm, sleeping bag, guests awaken to a winter wonderland in the morning, when hot beverages are served. Hotel de Glace is a completely unique lodging experience.
